The Royal Cliff Beach Hotel complex is made up of 4 hotels and enjoys a wonderful location overlooking Royal Cliff bay and the hotel beach. Some 10 minutes drive from the hotel is Pattaya with its numerous shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Transfer time to Bangkok airport is approximately 2 hours.
This fully air-conditioned luxury hotel underwent extensive renovations in 2004, and comprises a total of 1072 rooms, of which 164 are suites. The lobby houses a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange, and a lift. Within the hotel there are also various shops, a games room, a TV room, and a hairdressing salon. Dining options include a caf, 3 bars, and 3 restaurants with highchairs for infants. Younger guests can let off steam in the playground. The hotel also has a wireless Internet connection and those arriving by car may use the hotel car park. The hotel's room and laundry service, as well as a doctor on call, complete the services on offer.
The rooms are decorated in a Thai style and have an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an Internet connection, a minibar, and tea and coffee making facilities. The carpeted rooms also feature a king-size bed, air conditioning, heating, a balcony, and a hire safe.
In the grounds, guests will find a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, and a poolside snack bar, surrounded by a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Further facilities include a spa with a sauna and steam room, spa treatments and massage services. Sports enthusiasts may play tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, squash, bowling, minigolf or billiards. Diving and windsurfing lessons are available from local providers on the beach. Guests can also go motor boating, water skiing, jet skiing, banana boating, or sailing (charges apply). There is a well-equipped gym in the complex offering aerobics sessions. A golf course can be found some 20 km away. A regular entertainment programme provides some variation for guests.
Guests may select their breakfast and dinner from a buffet. Lunch and dinner may be taken la carte, alternatively there is a set menu for dinner. The hotel caters for special dietary requirements.
The hotel is located 135 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport. One can reach the Resort from the airport in just 90 minutes via the Bangkok-Cholburi Motorway. Entering the Pattaya city via Sukhumvit Road, take the Pattaya 3rd road to reach South Pattaya and later Phra Tamnuk Road to reach the Resort.
